The QMC Distinguished Lecture Series was created to attract the world's top researchers to Maryland. The series of seminars - which includes a Physics Department Colloquium lecture, a QMC Condensed Matter Colloquium lecture and other special seminars - is extended through a week-long visit in order to allow ample interaction with QMC members, affiliates and others interested in interacting with the distinguished visitor.
